The Accomplishments of Samara Lipsky

Samara Lipsky
Such is her reputation as a psychologist that, over the last few years, Samara Lipsky has made presentations and given numerous lectures at professional conferences. It’s no wonder, since she is not just a psychologist, but also a prolific author, having co-authored three book chapters and published multiple articles in journals on the psychological profession itself, as well as general public health issues.

Of course, at the core of everything is Samara Lipsky’s education. She earned an undergraduate business degree from Emory University’s infamous Goizueta Business School and followed that up when she obtained a Master’s Degree in Psychology just a few years later. In addition to those degrees, she also completed a two-year predoctoral research fellowship with the fine doctors at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.n She is currently a Ph.D candidate in the International Psychology program at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP). She’s nowhere near finished learning everything she needs to know, however. Samara Lipsky is just getting started.

For Samara Lipsky, A Psychological Career is Logical

Samara Lipsky
The choice to embark on a career as a psychologist seems to already served Samara Lipsky well. The only thing she will say is that she wants it to go on for many more years. We know this because she is currently a Ph.D candidate at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology’s (TCSPP), in their International Psychology program. This is not something anyone will do unless they want to be the best psychologist possible. To help her get through that, Samara Lipsky received the President's Scholarship to that school.

To get that scholarship is actually a great honor, although it is not the only honor Samara Lipsky has received. In fact, she has accumulated a variety of awards and accolades in the field over the years. One of the greatest examples, in fact, has to be her induction into the Edward Alexander Bouchet Graduate Honor Society at Yale University, although she can also count her Meritorious Student Abstract Award from the Society of Behavioral Medicine’s Annual Conference to be among some of the most important honors.

Samara Lipsky is certainly determined to be a force for good in the psychological profession. Besides being a prolific writer whose work has appeared in many peer-reviewed publications, both in her field and in the public health arena in general, Samara has authored several book chapters and she has presented at many conferences on public health issues. In addition, Samara Lipsky co-founded a non-profit organization dedicated to helping raise both funds and awareness for medically oriented organizations. She also serves as a member of the Diversity Committee for Psychologists in Public Service, where she plays a key role in the group, whose primary purpose is to increase the level of diversity in the profession.

Overall, it can almost be said that Samara Lipsky has already had a significant psychological career. She is currently a Ph.D candidate in the International Psychology program at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP), but that comes after she already earned an undergraduate degree in business from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a Masters Degree in Psychology sometime after that. Just before she began her current doctoral work, Samara also completed a two year predoctoral research fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
